Roses de Sables: a quick, easy and so delicious dessert!

One of my old time favorites that I love to make is the ROSES DE SABLES. I learnt it from a French friend who love chocolate to bits. If we translate this recipe's french name literally, it means "sand roses". It's because of it's shape which is that of a bunch of flower petals and it's texture, which is crunchy and soooo delicious! It's a very easy recipe that people of all ages love. It's simple with main ingredients as corn flakes and dark chocolate. Try this out and tell me what you think!

For the Roses des Sables you will need :

170g of Corn Flakes
200g of butter
1 table spoon of instant coffee
300g of dark chocolate (Once, I tried with milk chocolate, it was disgusting!! )
125g of dusty sugar

How to do:
In a very low fire, dissolve the butter in a pan.
Cut the chocolate into small pieces and add it together with the instant coffee to the butter. Mix all together until it become soft and creamy.
Remove from fire and add the sugar gradually.
Put the Corn Flakes in a big bowl, add the chocolate cream and mix without breaking the Corn Flakes. Every piece must be covered by chocolate.
Shape small piles of Roses des Sables which you put in a long sheet of aluminium paper. The best way to shape them is by using a tablespoon.
Put them in the fridge around 10 to 30 minutes before serve.
Bon Appétit!
